Summary

Lead a high performing maintenance operation that keeps plant production running safely, efficiently, and reliably. As a Maintenance Manager, you will drive maintenancestrategiesand execution for the facility, providing leadership, technical guidance, and oversight of maintenance projects, cost optimization, and process improvements. You will play a critical role in enhancing equipment reliability, optimizing maintenancespending, and supporting continuous improvement while ensuring the facility and its systems operate at peak performance.

The salary range for this position is$101,000- $151,000 per year, based on experience and qualificationswith annual bonusavailable(variable dependingon performance).

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy maintenance and store improvement programs and projects that improve the plant and equipment performance.
  • Promote safety and demand it from the maintenance organization.
  • Manage the maintenance staff to include hiring, training and developingthe staff to meet the needs of the department.
  • Ensure preventative and predictive maintenance is completed and records are maintained on all assets.
  • Ensure maintenance projects comply with all local, state and federal safety and environmental requirements and regulations.
  • Develop and oversee the continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes and executing long-term plans.
  • Manage the maintenance management system.
  • Coordinate workperformedby outside vendors.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelor?sDegree inMechanicalor Agricultural Engineering or related discipline.In lieu of a degree,equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Musthave an understanding ofmaintenance management systems and processes, preventative and predictive maintenance, manufacturing technologies and standard software applications.
  • Requires strong communication, math, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Mustbe able to travel to other facilities.

Physical RequirementsandEnvironmental Factors

  • May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
  • May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
  • When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
  • May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
  • May handleproducts from25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • May be exposed to noise ranges of 50dbto 110 db.
  • May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, and processing facility.
  • Mustwear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
