As a Multi Craft Maintenance Technician, you will be a versatile,hands-onasset to the operations team, working across departments to support safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. You will help prevent issues before they arise, apply strongproblem-solvingskills to real time challenges, and promote a proactive, safety focused maintenance culture. This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy variety, take initiative, and make a meaningful impact through continuous improvement and technical expertise. Compensation: This position has a target wage of $44.00- $50.60per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1:00pm-9:30pm , rotates every weekend (off 2 days during the week when working weekends) Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities Role models, mentors Maintenance Technicians. Provides "hands on" training and direction to lower-level mechanics and techs in properly servicing, repairing, and maintaining the equipment operated by the Company.
Utilizes appropriate safety precautions, methods, and apparatus to minimize and withstand exposure to chemicals, dust, and mechanical and electrical hazards. Learns and observes all safety precautions as required by Perdue.
Minimum Education and Experience 8+ Years experience in Industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, problem-solving and repairs on Mechanical and Electrical Equipment, and/or Equivalent Military Experience.
Expert Proficiency in Hydraulics, Mechanics, Electrical, PLC, Welding and Rigging Maintain Perdue Farms QEW Certification.
Preferred Education and Experience Physical RequirementsandEnvironmental Factors Sitting, standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, reaching overhead and/or at shoulder level, lifting (50 lbs.) and/or repetitive tasks throughout the day.
