Job Summary
Food Talent Solutions has partnered with a food manufacturer to identify an FSQA Manager for its production facility outside of Norfolk, VA. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the facility’s food-safety and quality systems, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and development of the QA team.
Key Role Information
- Reports to the VP of Operations, with a dotted line to the President
- Leads one QA supervisor and three QA technicians
- Supports a five-day operation with approximately 30–40 employees
- Facility scored 96 on its most recent SQF audit (April)
- Owns SQF, HACCP, PCQI, FSMA, audit, CAPA, environmental-monitoring, and regulatory programs
- Works closely with production to strengthen food-safety practices and resolve quality issues

Target Candidate
- 3–5+ years of FSQA experience in food manufacturing
- SQF, PCQI, HACCP understanding.
- Experience working with allergens, aflatoxin or related products.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
